How it started…

I grew up in the small town of Hartlepool and have always been creative. After school I attended Art college to study Graphic Design & Photography and knew pretty quickly it was what I wanted to pursue as a career. I got my graphic design degree at Kingston University, London and ended up living down south for almost 8 years.

My design career started in print. I was fortunate enough to gain some incredible experience, working for the likes of Cosmopolitan, Superdrug’s DARE magazine and in the head office at River Island.

I moved back up North in 2016 and, after a few years working for some fantastic agencies, decided to start my own business in 2021.

How it's going…

I work on a variety of publications, whether that’s a small local indie newspaper, a not-for-profit magazine or a catalogue for a retail brand.

My first love is editorial design. I am passionate about taking time away from digital screens, and escaping the everyday with a magazine.
